The previous owners , the Jackson family of The Bell Inn on the Market Square, Nottingham. Asked us to repair this, probably 1920's front window.

The glass of the bell was two layers plated together in a special double depth lead.

Following on from that restoration they asked us to make some new panels for the dividing wall between the corridor to the back bar and the room to the left.

The lettering was painted and fired onto the glass.
We were asked to make a Tiffany Daffodil panel for and internal window. The design was first hand traced in CorelDRAW over the original Tiffany design.

Once happy with the line drawing the picture can be dispensed with.

Leaving only the line art.

The line art pattern is then appropriately resized to fit in the final panel dimensions.

Then the additional design features were added.

This is the final working drawing whihc will be printed out 1:1 on an HP DesignJet plotter.

With a sheet of thcik glass overlaying the plan, each new piece is held in place with blue-tak. This arrangement allows us to lift the panel to the light to check the glass colours together.
